X,Y vector of where the pixy is moving

hello, i need to know if it is possible for the pixy to understand the “flow”.

For my application a pixy will need to be mounted on a drone and has to understand direction of how the drone is miving by the flow of what the downward pixy sees. I’ll need that info to keep my camera pointed in a certain position.
Basicly i need it to act like an optical mouse and know where it is going by how the image is moving below.

Any help or link will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, unfortunately this is not possible with Pixy. It’s designed to track objects based on color, as well as track lines and some special barcodes. It does not run an optical flow algorithm.
